Time.. Why you move so fast!

Wow...! It has been awhile since my last post. The last post dated May 2011...dah setahun lebih tu! Dalam time yg berlalu nih macam-macam peristiwa yg berlaku... Macam-macam...!

Dunia ni penuh dengan kesibukan...termasuk la aku yang kerdil (physically bukanlah kerdil) nih! Dunia bukan saja sibuk...tapi jugak berubah. In term of technology, setahun yg lalu, org jalan2 bawa notebook which we so call a "portable" device pasai dia kecik dari normal laptop... Tapi along the way, manusia relies yg they have to carry together power cord...maka ramai lah orang berebut-rebut pi kedai mamak nak duduk dekat wall plug! Updating their facebook and minum segelas teh tarik berjam-jam! Kemudian new ERA or new segment introduced by apple...the iPad..Which bole buat apa yg kita bole buat dengan laptop or notebook.. Update facebook dan....update facebook! Well not only that la..semua bole buat laa - games, baca news, browsing dan macam-macam lagi! With all that the power still can last easily 5-8hours... So apa lagi "so loong la laptop or notebook"... You are not portable enough!

Now everywhere orang carry tablet macam-macam jenis! Aku sendiri dah ada 3 biji iPad (iPad 1, iPad 2, the latest one iPad mini). YAA... iPad mini which is the latest iPad now in Malaysia...! Nak cerita pasai benda nih saja bole 1 hari! Nanti bila-bila kita sembang pasai ni pulak.

So...macam diceritakan tadi... Dunia banyak berubah dalam tanpa kita sedari...dalam berjalanan itu... Kita pun turun berubah. Cuma kena pesan disini (especially untuk aku) when we look back...do we changed? Do we changed to a bad one or a good one? well soalan nih kena tanya kepada diri sendiri. Kena duduk diam-diam think back.... Do I make any changes to myself?

New Gadget - Nokia N900

This week Nokia just announced and released N900...really cool stuff..! the tag "PC in the Pocket". The spec... just woOOW..! pretty impressive...!

In hardware, Nokia makes clear the N900's role as an effective replacement for the N97 and the company's answer to the iPhone 3GS. The QWERTY slider design has the same 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor as the Apple smartphone and a faster graphics core that, again like Apple, supports OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics features. GPS and Wi-Fi are similarly onboard. However, the N900 brings much more app memory at up to 1GB (256MB actual RAM), full HSPA-based 3G at up to 10Mbps down and 2Mbps up, and a much sharper 800x480, 3.5-inch touchscreen. The 5-megapixel camera and 32GB of storage are also carried over from the N97, but a microSDHC slot lets users add at least another 16GB with today's cards.

They said this will be a IPhone killer... personally I would say "The race just started..." Anyway we'll wait for full review on how good this stuff is. But, I tell you "got to have this MAN...!". The 1st ever multitasking handphone...!!!

New in house... Canon 70-200mm F4L

Well... last night...after pikiq habis-habis pasai lens ni...which one to grap after few option being studied (in hunt for 70-200mm)... here are some rumusan...

1. Sigma 70-200 F2.8 - a bit soft and "slow" maybe not a good unit when tested at Click & Snap. Price about $3.5k... mahai jugak!
2. Canon 70-200 F2.8L - superb! tapi $$ tak cukup and price pun dah increased!!! 2nd hand about ~$3.6k and new about ~6k+. For IS version...just have to forget about it...out of reach ($7.5k)!!!
3. Canon 70-200 F4L IS - ada 2nd hand ~$3.3k tapi dah ada orang angkat (called up Ms Koay Excel Shop). Called up Jack Click & Snap.... new one price increase to $4450... haiyaaaa...!!! So.. have to forget it!
4. Canon 70-200 F4L non IS - new one about $2.7k... ok..ada budget.... tengok dalam forum (PhotoMalaysia.com) ada mamat nak jual! Warranty still ada 3 bulan...price pun menarik ($1.9k). So, when to Qbay Mall to meet up this quy... surpriced... this guy from Korea (BTW nice guy too!) working in Penang for 2 years already. Sembang2 sikit....last sekali kasi kawtim for $1850.... test the lens superb condition (like new..!!!)... what can I say... "I'm happy" can't detached the lens from my canon 40D body! So, kasi angkat saja..! To korean bro.... thanks man!

So... the search has ended.... for a while at least...hehehe..!!!

I sold of my Tammy & bag...

Last Saturday (March 14'09)... I sold of my 2 camera "items"...

1. Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 - bought somewhere in Aug'08
2. E-volt sling camera bag - bought somewhere in Oct'08

Actually, these items served me well.. just that I need to raise some fund for new stuffs! Planning to get Lowepro Fastpack 100 for daily walkaround use and tele lens Canon 70-200mm F4 IS.

Bila nak bole dapat pun tak tau lagi...!
